Canton woman caught trying to brighten smile: Police issued a summons for theft to a 36-year-old Canton woman Sept. 21 after the loss prevention officer at a South Avenue business told police the woman was observed placing two boxes of tooth-whitening strips valued at $107 in her purse and attempting to leave the store without paying for the items.
Cash missing from home: A North Thomas Road woman told police Sept. 23 that sometime between 5 and 7:30 p.m. someone removed $15 cash from a container she keeps on top of her television.
Vehicle's rear windshield shattered: A Tammery Drive man told police at 8 p.m. Sept. 19 he discovered the rear windshield of his vehicle, which was parked outside his home, was shattered. Damage was estimated at $250.SFlbDamaged property
Vehicle strikes mailbox: A Ferguson Drive man told police sometime between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sept. 6, a vehicle left the roadway on Ferguson Drive, striking his mailbox and foot bridge. Additionally, a large tire mark was left in the grass near the mailbox. Damage was estimated at $350.
