Electronics, truck tuner taken from unlocked vehicles: A Beechwood Drive man told police Jan. 29 that sometime overnight, someone entered his two unlocked vehicles which were parked in his driveway, removing a $150 GPS, a $200 iPod and an $800 diesel truck tuner from inside.

Akron man nabbed for theft of tequila: Police issued a summons for theft to a 51-year-old Akron man Jan. 24 after the loss prevention officer at a South Avenue business told police he saw the suspect leave the store without paying for a $40 bottle of tequila he had on his person.

Stolen credit card information used to buy parts: The loss prevention officer at a Southeast Avenue business told police Jan. 28 a Campbell man used his grandparents personal information to open a credit card in his name, on which he charged nearly $6,000 worth of miscellaneous auto parts.
