TV, gold necklace missing from apartment: A Brittain Circle man told police Feb. 22 that sometime overnight, someone removed a $402 LED TV and a $500 gold chain necklace from his apartment.


Tallmadge woman caught taking $20 bill: Police issued a summons for theft to a 24-year-old Tallmadge woman Feb. 20 after an employee of an East Avenue business told police she saw the woman remove a $20 bill from her purse. According to the report, the suspect admitted to taking the money and concealing it in her sock.

Thousands in jewelry missing from residence: A North Munroe Road woman told police Feb. 25 that sometime between Feb. 22 and 25, someone removed five gold rings valued at $2,400, one man's gold chain necklace with gold cross valued at $800, and a woman's gold chain necklace valued at $800 from her jewelry box.

Criminal damage

Mailbox hit by vehicle: A Fenn Road man told police Feb. 25 that sometime that day, someone struck his mailbox with a vehicle. Damage was estimated at $100.
