Burglary

Property stolen from home: A North Munroe Road man told police sometime between July 5 and 13, someone entered and ransacked his home, removing over $12,000 worth of property. According to the police report, the suspect pulled a screen out of an unlocked bathroom window to gain entrance.

Theft

Bike missing from yard: An Antone Drive woman told police July 16 that someone removed her son's $120 green and white BMX bike from the driveway area of their home.

Rented tool not returned to business: The manager of a Southeast Avenue business told police someone rented a $1,465 10-foot aluminum brake with stand and failed to return it.

Money, ID taken from unlocked vehicle: A Norton Drive woman told police July 14 that sometime overnight, someone entered her unlocked vehicles which were parked in her driveway, removing a KSU student ID card and less than $20 cash from inside.

Criminal damage

Apartment window broken: A North Thomas Road man reported the west side window of his apartment had been damaged. Damage was estimated at $200.

Vehicle scratched: A Dunbar Road woman told police sometime between 10 p.m. July 12 and 10 a.m. July 13, someone scratched the rear quarter panel of her vehicle with an unknown object. Damage was estimated at $500.

Tires damaged: A Jennifer Trail man told police July 13 that sometime overnight, someone cut one of his truck's tires. Damage was estimated at $200. Sometime during the same time period, another Jennifer Trail man reported the tire on his truck had been punctured. Damage was also estimated at $200.
