A 43-year-old Tallmadge man has been charged in connection with a bank robbery reported in Cuyahoga Falls on Sunday morning. Steven C. Dagostine on Tuesday, Feb. 26, was charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, according to Cuyahoga Falls Police Lt. Steve Guldeman.

Dagostine, who is already in Summit County Jail in connection with a bank robbery reported in Akron, will have a video arraignment in Stow Municipal Court this week, said Guldeman, who added the investigation of the Cuyahoga Falls robbery is ongoing.

On Sunday, Feb. 24 at about 10 a.m., a man presented a note to a teller demanding money inside the Huntington Bank inside a Giant Eagle store, 230 Howe Ave., according to a police news release.

The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was seen during the incident, the news release said.
