Queen of Heaven
Mass schedule: Saturday Vigil Mass 4:30 p.m.; Sunday, 8:15 and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. (Life Teen); weekday Masses remain at 8:30 a.m. with the rosary prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass, and a 9:30 a.m. Mass celebrated on Tuesdays at Greenview Inn. Additional weekday Masses: 6:30 p.m. Monday and Thursday and 12:10 p.m. Friday. Saturdays after the 8:30 a.m. Mass, there also is Exposition and Benediction from 9 to 9:30 a.m.

Madelyn A. Ellinger
Childrens Hospital retiree, great-grandmother
Madelyn A. "Great Granny" Ellinger, 87, died Oct. 1, 2013.
Born in Akron, Mrs. Ellinger had lived in the Akron-Tallmadge areas all her life. She retired from the Medical Records Department at Akron Children's Hospital, prior to medical records Mrs. Ellinger managed the snack shop at Children's Hospital and was hostess at McDonald's in the valley. She was a member of IOOF and VFW Auxiliary Firestone Post.
Mrs. Ellinger was preceded in death by her sisters, Ann and Norma. She is survived by her daughters, Donna J. Kilmire and Beverly A. Ellinger both of Tallmadge; son, George "Skip" (Janet) Ellinger of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Kimberly Ann (Mike) Odem, Kelly Ann (Rob) Ellinger, Cindy Nadine (Andy) Mesko and Tish Marie Denny; great-grandchildren, Turner A. Mesko, Hanna M. Mesko and Kolton Alexander Fankhauser, Spencer Odem and Alexa Odem and the Coleman families.
