Compass Point Chapel will host a Church in the Park event June 29 at 10:30 a.m. at Howe Road Park, 988 E. Howe Road.
The public is invited to enjoy this church service under the trees with inspiring contemporary worship.
Pastor Chuck Marshall will speak on the topic, "What's the Difference?"
Does God favor some while rejecting others who are just as good? On what basis does God accept people into his forever family? What's the difference in God's eyes? Toddler nursery, Preschool Class and Junior Church will be provided during the message.
All are encouraged to stay for a pot-luck picnic following the service. Regular attendees will take plenty of food to treat to share with all guests.

Tallmadge United Methodist
Dare to Share is a nutrition program sponsored by Tallmadge High School students, Rotary and Tallmadge United Methodist Church. Those who would like to contribute are asked to purchase small containers to go into backpacks: 100 percent juice boxes, beans and franks (pop-top), beef stew (pop-top), beef sticks, cereal bars, cereal bowls, fruit cups, pudding cups, jelly, shelf-stable milk, microwave popcorn, granola bars, oatmeal, peanut butter, pumpkin and sunflower seeds and tuna. Items made be brought to the Tallmadge UMC office.

First Congregational Church is the host church for an Alzheimer's Support Group for caregivers and family members. Alzheimer's, dementia and delirium affect the entire family and this group support is intended to provide assistance in coping strategy and care. The pastors and congregation of Grace Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Hudson, 781 Terex Road, announce the church will be celebrating 25 years of God's faithfulness in July. Several special events are planned for the weekend of July 19 and 20. The community is invited to attend a special Sunday morning worship service at 9:30 a.m. July 20.
