Spaghetti Dinner -- The community is invited to attend a spaghetti dinner at First Congregational Church Oct. 12 anytime between 4:30 and 7 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $6 for children younger than 8. Alzheimer's Caregivers Support Group -- Community members are invited to attend an Alzheimer's Caregivers Support Group on the last Tuesday of the month at 11 a.m. at the church.

Children will hear 150 key Bible stories, focus on four Faith Skills and 30 Life Aps (practical applications of God's Truth).
TLC Furniture & Appliance Drive to benefit Baton Rouge, La., flood victims. Collection dates: Oct. 13, 14 and 15. The church is collecting new and gently used furniture, small and large appliances, pots and pans, new mattresses and blankets, and gift cards from Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart and Target.

This Sunday, at 10:30 a.m. at Community Baptist Church, 274 N. Munroe Road, the Rev. Doug Knox, pastor, will give a sermon on "Unified Voice; Unique Voices." Oct. 23 -- Trunk or Treat from 2 to 4 p.m. at the church. The event is designed for the kids and the young at heart in the community as a way of offering an alternative to going door-to-door for treats. Children are invited to beg for treats, as well as play games in a safe, fun environment. Cars will be lined up with decorated trunks and safe candy and treats will be handed out to the little beggars. Refreshments available. A prize will be awarded for the best decorated car. Costumes are encouraged.
Nov. 19 -- Holiday Bazaar. St. Mark is hosting its second annual Holiday Bazaar Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church.

On Oct. 9, Senior and Middle School Youth will be going to Ramseyer Farms in Wooster for a hayride. The cost is $10 per person and participants will meet at the church at 2:45 p.m. to carpool. The event is from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Participants will return to the church for pick up by 8:30. Hotdogs, chips and desserts will be enjoyed around the campfire.
