Baby play group
Fridays, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. for babies up to 24 months of age with caregiver. Join other parents, grandparents and caregivers for a group playtime. The library will provide a meeting room and developmentally appropriate toys.
Mother Goose time
First Friday of every month, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. For babies up to 24 months of age with caregiver Traditional rhymes and songs. A baby play group follows.
Book Bugs Story Times -- Tuesdays, Feb. 5 through March 26, 10:30 a.m. for children ages 3 through 6 with caregiver. Stories, songs, rhymes and arts and crafts featured.
Wonderful Wiggle Worms Story Times -- Wednesdays, Feb. 6 through March 25, 10:30 a.m. for ages 2 through 3 with caregiver. Jump on over to a shorter story time for active little ones. Features songs, dancing, rhymes and stories. Followed by a group playtime.
School age programs
For children in kindergarten through fifth grade
Valentine Fun -- Feb. 12, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Children will make Valentines for their friends and family and a tasty snack for themselves.
For all ages. Children younger than age 5 should be accompanied by an adult.
Miss Spider's Tea Party -- Feb. 9, 11:30 a.m. The Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet presents a mini-performance and interactive dance and movement activities based on the story, "Miss Spider's Tea party." Enjoy tea and cookies after the performance. Attendees are encouraged to wear their best tea party hat.
Paws for Reading -- Every first and third Saturday of the month, 1 to 2 p.m. Look for therapy dogs, Caesar or Sophie, in the Children's area. Children can improve their reading skills by reading a book to a furry friend. Children can take a book they are currently reading or select one from the library shelves.
Advance registration required. For children in grades 6 through 12.
Teen movie, "The Hunger Games" -- Feb. 26, 4 p.m. In a not-too-distant future, North America has collapsed, weakened by drought, fire, famine and war to be replaced by Panem, a country divided into the Capitol and 12 districts. Each year two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Rated PG-13, 142 minutes
Yoga Teens -- Fridays, through Feb. 22, 4 p.m. Teens are invited to join yoga instructor Cheril Walker for some relaxing stretches and challenging yoga poses. Attendees are asked to take a yoga mat or a beach towel. Space is limited.
Valentine's Day Vases -- Feb. 9, 2 p.m. Attendees will decorate their own vase in Valentine's style to keep or give away. All materials provided. Registration requested.
Kindles and eBooks -- Feb. 19, 2 p.m. Learn about Kindles, ebooks and how to access them. Find out how to download an ebook or e-audiobook free from a vast selection offered by the library. Attendance at Internet, Part 1 or prior Internet experience is preferred.

Watch a classic movie taken from AFI's 100 Years … 100 Movies. The Library will provide snacks and drinks. All movies begin at 6:30 p.m.

Knit and Crochet Club
Thursdays, Feb. 7, 3 to 4:30 p.m. Learn to knit or crochet or share techniques. All levels of expertise and all ages welcome. Free supplies to get started.
