Lifetime Achievement nominees sought
The City's Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony has been scheduled for Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 46 North Ave., just prior to the 7 p.m. regular council meeting.
This will be the fifth year for this special ceremony that honors those "unsung heroes" who have spent their lifetime contributing valuable time and effort to improving the community for the greater good of others. Lifetime Achievement Award honorees are role models for all. Without their unyielding contributions to our community, Tallmadge would not be the city it is today.
Nominations are being accepted. The nominees must be residents of Tallmadge and have committed themselves to the improvement of the community and/or the lives of others for at least 20 years.
Nominating forms are available in the Mayor's office at 46 North Ave. The completed forms may be sent by mail (to Mayor's Office, 46 North Ave., Tallmadge 44278), faxed to 330-630-4922 or dropped off to Karen Morgan in the Mayor's office by Oct. 11.
