Casino Night

The Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce will host a Casino Night March 8 at Underwood Hall, 1945 Mogadore Road, Kent. Doors open at 6 p.m., dinner will be served and tables will open at 6:30 p.m. Coat is $70 per person.

There will be 18 tables for sponsors on a first come, first served basis: 11 blackjack, one hold 'em, once craps, one let it ride, one roulette, one Caribbean stud, one three-card and one chuck a luck.

The cost is $125 dollars which includes displaying the advertiser's name and contact information and the dealer will pass out the advertiser's business cards for each person at the table.

Also, there will be a money sponsor. The money sponsor will get their logo and information on every cash dollar and their business cards will be "clipped" to the money. The money sponsor will go to the highest bidder and starts at $400.

Chamber is also asking for major prizes for the auction and auction items for the prize money at the end of the night. A total of 35 awards are being sought.

December luncheon meeting

The Tallmadge High School a capella choir will perform at Chamber's Dec. 18 luncheon meeting at the Community Center, 80 Community Road.

Networking starts at 11:20 a.m. followed by lunch at 11:50 a.m. Reservations are required.

Grand opening

Blue Target Firearms, 294 West Ave., a new member of Chamber, is hosting a grand opening Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The ribbon cutting will be at 10:15 a.m. Prizes will be awarded all day, so stop in and welcome them to the community.

Featured Business of the Month

Chad Loughry of Flagstar Bank was drawn for the Business of the Month at our November meeting. Chad recently joined Flagstar Bank, a residential mortgage company, located at 168 East Ave.

If you would like to participate in our Featured Business of the Month program, just attend the luncheons and "drop" your business card into the basket to be drawn for the Business of the Month. You will get your business name featured on our website, and a short blurb" in the Chamber Chatter column in the Tallmadge Express, along with a mention in our next newsletter. One business card a month will be drawn at the luncheon meetings.
