Casino Night

The Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce will host a Casino Night March 8 at Underwood Hall, 1945 Mogadore Road, Kent. Doors open at 6 p.m., dinner will be served and tables will open at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $70 per person which includes dinner, drinks and "play" money.

There will be 18 tables for sponsors on a first come, first served basis: 11 blackjack, one hold 'em, once craps, one let it ride, one roulette, one Caribbean stud, one three-card and one chuck a luck.

The cost is $125 dollars which includes displaying the advertiser's name and contact information and the dealer will pass out the advertiser's business cards for each person at the table.

Also, there will be a money sponsor. The money sponsor will get their logo and information on every cash dollar and their business cards will be "clipped" to the money. The money sponsor will go to the highest bidder and starts at $400.

Chamber is also asking for major prizes for the auction and auction items for the prize money at the end of the night. A total of 35 awards are being sought.

February luncheon meeting

Chris Fankhauser will speak on education, specifically, the opportunities and services offered in skilled nursing facilities at Chamber's monthly luncheon meeting, Feb. 19 at Heather Knoll, 1134 North Ave. Networking will begin at 11:20 a.m. and lunch will be served at 11:50 a.m. Reservations are required. The cost is $12.
