Tallmadge/Mogadore FOP ninth annual golf outing set for Aug. 9

Tallmadge/Mogadore Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 111 will host its ninth annual gold outing Aug. 9 at Sunny Hills Golf Course in Brimfield.

Team slots are still available.

Both seasoned golfers and hackers are welcome to attend.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The cost is $65 per person or $260 for a foursome.

Hole sponsorships are available starting at $100 per hole (Birdie), $200 (Eagle) or $300 (Hole in One).

Donations/door prizes would also be greatly appreciated.

Proceeds help support local veterans causes, such as the Nate Deyarmin Memorial Fund.

Tallmadge and Mogadore FOP Lodge 111 helps support and fund local youth programs, charitable organizations and local community outreach programs such as "Shot with a Cop." It also provides several scholarships, as well as donating to the annual Akron Children's Hospital "Tree Festival."

Participants will receive 18 holes of golf with electric cart, lunch and dinner, provided by Old Carolina BBQ. Limited to first 32 foursomes, those who want to attend are encouraged to hurry.

Door Prizes and a Hole-in-One Contest are also part of the festivities. All proceeds from Skins and 50/50 will be donated to the Nate Deyarmin Memorial Fund.
