Book Sale -- Oct. 27, 4 to 8 p.m. Friends' Preview, Oct. 28, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Oct. 29, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., $5 bag sale all day.

Toddler, Preschool Story Times

Book Bugs Story Time -- Session 2, Tuesdays, Oct. 18 through Nov. 8, 10:30 a.m.; for children ages 3 through 6 with a caregiver. Children can enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, a craft and time to play together.

Wonderful Wiggle Worms Story Time -- four-week sessions. Session 2, Thursdays, Oct. 20 through Nov. 10, 10:30 a.m. For children ages 2 through 3 with a caregiver. Jump on over to a shorter story time for active little ones. Enjoy stories, songs, dancing, bouncing and more. Story time is followed by a group playtime.

STEM for grades 3 through 5. Thursdays, Oct. 20, Nov. 17, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Robotics, coding, engineering. Children are encouraged to challenge themselves and learn something new while playing with some really cool materials. Presented by Sylvan Edge. Advance registration requested.

STEAM for kindergarten through grade 2. Tuesdays, Oct. 18, Nov. 15, 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. What does one get when they combine art with science and math? They get to create and innovate. Have fun exploring and creating together. Presented by Sylvan Edge. Advance registration requested.

Family Programs

For all ages. Children younger than age 5 should be accompanied by an adult.

Musical Program, Songs of the Woods Concert featuring Sam Sapp -- Oct. 22 , 11 a.m. Learn about some Ohio wildlife featured in this singer-songwriter's stories and songs about nature.

Paws for Reading -- Every first and third Saturday of the month, from 1 to 2 p.m. Look for library therapy dogs and improve reading skills by reading to a furry friend. Take along a book or choose one from library shelves.

Celebrate Autumn with NatureConnect.

October: Who's at the feeder? Pick up a bird watcher journal at the front desk and draw the birds visiting the library's feeder.

November: What do you love about nature? Fill out some "thankfulness feathers" and hang them up in the library's NatureConnect area.

Teen Programs

Grades 6 through 12

College Planning Workshop -- Oct. 18, 6 p.m. Is the cost of college inducing stress? Parents and teens are invited to this informational workshop to learn strategies for getting free money for college. Topics covered include obtaining maximum financial aid, balancing the cost of education vs. the value of the degree earned and many other helpful tips. Presented in association with Joel Wymer, certified college planner of College Planning Strategies. Advance registration requested.

Teen Yoga Series -- Tuesdays, 4:30 p.m., Nov. 1, 8, 22, 29 (no class Nov. 15). Join Certified Yoga Instructor Tracie Zamiska for this introductory series on basic yoga poses and benefits.

Adult Programs

Knit & Crochet Club -- Thursdays, 3 to 4:30 p.m., Nov. 10.

Ancient Egypt Program Series -- Presented by Professor Emeritus Earl Ertman from the University of Akron.

Oct. 17, 6:30 p.m.Program 3: Nefertiti: More Than a Wife and Queen, and Tutankhamun's Reign Including New Research.

Meet the Author -- Dr. Ann Otto, Nov. 10, 6:30 p.m. Join local author Dr. Ann Otto as she discusses her historical novel, "Yours in a Hurry," about Ohioans who left for Los Angeles during the 1908-1912 era.

Book Discussions -- Nov. 14, 2 p.m. "The Blessing Way" by Tony Hillerman.

Friday -- Noon to 6 p.m.

Saturday -- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
