For his Eagle project, Jerry made 47 prayer blankets (blessed by First Church of God in Tallmadge Pastor Josh Deeter) for hospice patients at Great Lakes Caring. Jerry started scouting in second grade as a Wolf. He completed Cub Scouts and crossed over to Boy Scouts in the fifth grade He has been in scouting more than eight years. He has enjoyed many activities within the BSA program, such as camping, fishing, hiking and community service, to name but a few. Some of Jerry's accomplishments over the years include: Youth Leadership Training, Order of the Arrow, Senior Patrol Leader, and now, Eagle Scout. He is now a freshman at Tallmadge High School. Jerry's future plans are to pursue a path in engineering. He says he has always loved to build and create and thinks that may be his future career. Jerry is the 68th Eagle Scout from the church.
