Tallmadge Library Association offering educational scholarship
The Tallmadge Library Association announces its 14th annual Educational Scholarship Grant. The Scholarship Grant is available to residents of Tallmadge as well as employees of the Tallmadge Branch Library, who will be returning to college during the 2017-18 school year.
The amount of this year's grant is $2,500. Applicants must submit a Scholarship Grant Application, official college transcript(s), a 250 to 300 word essay, and two to three letters of recommendation.
The applications are available from a librarian at the circulation desk of the Tallmadge Branch Library. All completed applications and attachments must be received no later than May 5.
The Tallmadge Library Association is proud to offer this community based Educational Scholarship Grant and looks forward to offering this award for years to come.
The Tallmadge Library Association will also be again offering a scholarship grant for a graduating high school senior in the amount of $1,000 through the Tallmadge City Schools Local Scholarship Program.

Library book sales April 27-29
The Tallmadge Library Association's next book sale will take place April 27 through 29.
Friends of the Library members are invited to the presale on April 27 from 4 to 8 p.m. Memberships will be available at the door.
All are welcome to attend the sale on April 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and April 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The library has a large assortment of books, both hardcover and paperback, DVDs, music CDs and more.
