Boy Scout Troop 361 to host two-day rummage sale in June
Boy Scout Troop 361 will host its annual rummage sale June 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and June 3 from 8 a.m. to noon at the First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, 85 Heritage Drive.
Those who would like to make donations to the Boy Scouts for the rummage sale may drop off items May 31 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and June 1 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
All proceeds will support troop camping adventures and needed supplies.
Blood drive at Danbury June 14
A Red Cross Blood Drive has been scheduled from 2 to 7 p.m. June 14 at Danbury Senior Living, 73 East Ave. For more information, call 330-247-1875.
Historical Society to host open houses on last Sunday of month
The Tallmadge Historical Society will host open houses at the Old Town Hall and Museum and the Historic Church on Tallmadge Circle.
The Schenkenberger House at 35 Southwest Ave. will also be open.
The time is from 2 to 4 p.m. on the last Sunday of the month, including June 25 and July 30.
The open houses will also welcome everyone on Memorial Day, May 29, from 10 a.m. to noon.
All are welcome and there is no charge.
THS Class of '67
The Tallmadge High School Class of 1967 will have its reunion Aug. 19 at Sunny Hills Golf Course, 3734 Sunnybrook Road, Kent.

Bridge class starts June 1 in Cuyahoga Falls
In a classroom setting, the opportunity awaits to learn to play bridge.
The class will be taught by an instructor certified by the American Contract Bridge League.
The class begins June 1 at 7 p.m. in Room 207 of the Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave., Cuyahoga Falls.
A $5 fee will be collected at the beginning of each class on consecuitve Thursdays through June and July.
Those interested in joining are asked to call Keith Klafehn at 330-819-7143 to reserve a spot in the class.
All beginners, novices and introductory bridge players are welcome.
