After School Hours
set for Nov. 5
After School Hours with the Tallmadge Board of Education has been scheduled for Nov. 5 from 5 to 6 p.m. in the McCombs Education Center, 486 East Ave. Two members of the Board and district administrators will be on hand to meet with Tallmadge residents in an informal dialogue setting.
Personnel matters and issues involving an individual student must be addressed through previously established protocol. Regular After School Hours sessions are scheduled the first Monday of the month, at the same time and location.
THS Veterans Day Commemoration set
for Nov. 9
Tallmadge High School staff and students invite community veterans to a Veterans Day Commemoration Nov. 9 at 8:30 a.m. in the High School Rotunda.
Coffee and doughnuts will be served and students and staff will have an opportunity to meet and speak with veterans between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.
A short program to honor the veterans will follow and the event will end at 10 a.m. The Social Studies Department is sponsoring the Veterans Day Commemoration and ask those planning to attend to make reservations by calling Kappy Sarver at 330-633-5505 ext. 1113 between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Monday through Friday or email email@example.com.
THS PTSA sponsors community peddler show
The Tallmadge High School PTSA will host its third annual Craft/Vendor Show Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Tallmadge High School Gymnasium, 140 N. Munroe Road.
The show has been dubbed "the Blue Devil Holiday Peddler Show" and will support THS PTSA Scholarships. All crafters, vendors and organizations are welcome to take part in the show. Space rental is now available. A 10-foot by 10-foot space will cost non-profit organizations $15, for-profit $25 and all Tallmadge in-school organizations will be given space at no charge. THS Christmas Families will receive $5 of each entrance fee.
Deadline is Oct. 31.

Homemade pumpkin rolls for sale at THS
THS students in Janice Price and Lauren Krysa's Occupational Work Study classes are, once again, baking homemade pumpkin rolls for the holiday seasons. Proceeds help support THS Special Education Programs.
Fall orders are now being accepted and will continue through Thanksgiving break. Each individual pumpkin roll will be wrapped in fall décor. Christmas orders will be ready after Thanksgiving break, and will be presented in winter décor!
The cost for a plain pumpkin roll with cream cheese is $6 and one with cream cheese and walnuts is $6.50.
