It has been a tradition for many years for the Munroe Elementary School fifth-graders to compete in a kickball tournament against Revere. Unfortunately, with this year's school schedule, Munroe could not accommodate the competition. So, Munroe PTA members came up with a solution -- a "Moms vs Kids Kickball Tournament," which took place May 21. More than 50 parents volunteered for the game and participated as players, cheerleaders, paparazzi, paramedics, water boys and referees. Josh the DJ set up and kept the music and fun going. When he played the "Hokey Pokey," everyone participated in the "Flash Mom Mob," which also inspired most of the students to take to the field to partake in the fun.
