BUILDERS CLUB OFFERS

FREE IN-HOME SAFETY CHECKS

The Tallmadge Middle School Builders Club, sponsored by the Tallmadge Kiwanis Club, is looking to help senior citizens through their "Senior Citizens Safety Program."

The program's goal is to provide help and support to older Tallmadge residents who may be empty-nesters, or those who are living alone, to be safe in their homes.

Seniors who choose to participate can make an appointment to schedule a free, in-home safety inspection.

The safety team will be checking for easy-to-read house numbers, a clear path to the main entrance door, a working door bell and front porch light, an emergency lock-box, a list of easy-to-find emergency phone numbers and working phone, a working smoke/gas detector, and a first-aid kit.
