"Just be yourself. Let people see the real, imperfect, flawed, quirky, weird, beautiful, magical person that you are." [Mandy Hale]. A piece of advice is to follow and live by this quote. What will make your life not as wonderful as it could be, is if you choose to waste it by not being the real you, trying to be someone you are not, and by surrounding yourself with fake people. I know it may be hard now, but do not worry about what will happen tomorrow, next year, nor the next 10 years; just live in the moment and enjoy the time you have right this very second.

As soon as you can, figure out whom you truly are as a person. The faster you figure out yourself, or at least try to, your life will be a million times better. No matter what, do not let society drag you down, make you think you should be anyone else but yourself, change who you are, or make you feel as if you have to suppress a part of yourself because you might be considered "different" to those around you. NEWS FLASH -- No one is the same; therefore, everyone is a "bit different" and those differences define who you are; and who you are, even if you do not agree, is an outstanding, amazing, incredible person. "To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world." [Dr. Seuss]. You will never know how much you may impact someone else's life. Just be the nicest person you possibly can be and always greet people with respect and with a sincere smile; if you do, you will go far.

In eighth-grade, I've learned to put myself first, once in awhile, instead of making myself unhappy and only putting others before me. Another thing I've learned is, just let loose and have fun! Do not care about how you may "look" if you are one of the few people who actually dance at dances; you will enjoy yourself a lot more, trust me. If you do not worry about what other people think, you will have one of the best times in your life, and you can count on that always being the outcome.

One of the best times I've had in eighth grade was going to the dinner cruise at D.C., dancing the night away with my friends, and just having fun. Please live in the moment before it passes you by. "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it." [Ferris Bueller's Day Off]. Worrying your life away is appalling and unpleasant because you can never enjoy it. Make sure, once in awhile, just stop, look around, and live in the moment before it's too late. Be yourself regardless of what anyone else says or does. You are the only you, there is no point in acting like someone else. "Just be yourself. Let people see the real, imperfect, flawed, quirky, weird, beautiful, magical person that you are." [Mandy Hale]. I would like to thank you, eighth-grade class of 2017."
