ANTIC seeks actors for 'Dr. Dolittle'

Actors-N-Theatre in Cuyahoga Falls will have auditions for "Dr. Dolittle" Jan. 10 from 7 to 9 p.m., Jan. 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. and Jan. 14 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The show will be directed by Liz Hickman.

Auditions will be at the Quirk Cultural Center at 1201 Grant Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls.

ANTIC is seeking a cast of 25 to 28. There are roles for adults, teens, and children 7 and over. The play is about the adventures of Dr. Dolittle, the gentle Englishman who can talk to animals.

Those auditioning will read from the script. The show dates are March 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, and 16.

Children's museum marks Martin Luther King Jr. Day

The Children's Museum of Cleveland will celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Jan. 20.

Admission will be $4 that day. The museum will honor Dr. King with a special "I Have a Dream" Cloud Collage created by visitors between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Children can write or draw their dream for a better world on our special cloud paper, then add it to the Cloud Collage.
