American pianist Jeremy Denk returns to the Tuesday Musical concert stage on Feb. 4 starting at 7:30 p.m., as the Margaret Baxtresser Annual Piano Concert Artist.
Jeremy Denk has been named Musical America's 2014 Instrumentalist of the Year. The award was presented by the performing arts resource at its annual ceremony In December.
This announcement topped the fall season for the pianist, who won a 2013 MacArthur “genius grant” Fellowship in September, and whose recording of Bach’s Goldberg Variations topped the Billboard “Classical Albums” and “Traditional Classical Albums” charts.
Denk has toured frequently with violinist Joshua Bell. He last appeared on the Tuesday Musical stage with Joshua Bell in 2010.

Students can attend any Tuesday Musical concert at no cost; they need a ticket voucher that is redeemed for a concert ticket the night of the concert. Parents/adults who accompany their children may purchase companion seats for a reduced price of $15. Transportation costs are covered for groups of 20 or more.
