Creativity Inspired by Recovery continues through July 9. The Margaret Clark Morgan Art Gallery is free and open to the public Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Together, Portage Path Behavioral Health and The Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation present this a display of works by more than a dozen artists, many of whom will be at the reception to talk about their work. This exhibition showcases the talent of clients of Portage Path Behavioral Health overcoming mental illness and provides insight into the relationship between creative expression and recovery.
Expressive arts are often critical in a person's recovery from mental illness. The talented artists in this exhibition include established artists as well as individuals whose introduction to making art occurred during their journey to mental wellness.
