schedules auditions for 'Littlest Angel'
Dynamics Community Theater of Tallmadge will have auditions for "The Littlest Angel" in the black box theater at Tallmadge High School, 140 North Munroe Road, on Sept. 22 and 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., with callbacks on Sept. 24 if needed.
The winter show, a one act musical play, will be staged Dec. 12 and 13. There are two roles for boys ages 8 to 10, and a cast of 10-15 males and females, middle school through adult. Those auditioning are asked to prepare a song to sing a cappella and bring a picture that will not be returned. Those auditioning also will be asked to read from a script provided that evening. ANTIC seeks actors for 'Dracula'
ANTIC, Inc. will have open call auditions for the Fall production "Dracula."
Auditions are Sept. 5 and 12 from 7 to 9 p.m., and Sept. 6 through 13 from 3 to 5 p.m. Shows are Nov. 7 through 16, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The script calls for six men and five women age 17 and older. Those auditioning should be aware that the content of this script follows the book more traditionally than other versions, which rates the content PG-13. Check out the novel or movies to learn more about the characters and story.
Auditions are at the Quirk Cultural Center at 1201 Grant Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls. Those auditioning will read from the script. Resumes are appreciated but not necessary.

Actors needed for holiday show
Weathervane Playhouse will have auditions for "Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some)" by Michael Carleton, Jim FitzGerald and John K. Alvarez, on Sept. 7 and 8 at 7 p.m.
Auditions will be at the theater, 1301 Weathervane Lane in Akron. Actors must be signed in by 8 p.m. to audition.
Callbacks, if needed, will be Sept. 9 at 7 p.m.
The cast calls for three to four actors, age range from 20s to 50s, with a faculty for physical comedy and taking risks.
Actors need to sing one song in the play.
Those auditioning should prepare a contemporary comedic one-minute monologue, and may be asked to stay and read a brief scene from the script.
Copies of the full script are available at the Weathervane box office. The script may not be taken from the theater.
Rehearsals begin Oct. 26. Performances are Dec. 4 through 20.
