Hudson gallery highlights farmers markets
"Farmers Markets" is the theme of an exhibition of original artwork by Hudson Society of Artists, which opened Aug. 28, at the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation Gallery located at 10 W. Streetsboro St. in downtown Hudson.
The gallery is free and open to the public weekdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and for special announced events including 5 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 12 and Oct. 10 during Hudson's Second Fridays Art Hop.
The work for this exhibition has been created recently, with the theme of Farmers Markets especially in mind. Artist talks are scheduled during the Sept. 12 reception.
Art Hop on 2nd Fridays in Hudson is a new collaboration by local Hudson artists, created to offer the community a firsthand view inside artists' studios and an opportunity to visit galleries around town to see the work being created in Hudson's expanding arts community.
"Farmers Markets" can be seen through Oct. 27. To learn more about the gallery and the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation, visit www.mcmfdn.org.
