Portage County's Goodell family serves Sunday pancake breakfast at Shalersville Town Hall

Virginia Goodell and her family will operate their 31st year of serving a Sunday pancake breakfast at the Shalersville Town Hall this Sunday, Cleveland.com reports.

Goodell, 90, began making syrup with her late husband Frank Goodell.

The Sunday pancake breakfast has grown from about 300 served to as many as 700, according to Cleveland.com.

Stark County man dies of exposure after possible abuse of alcohol

A 74-year-old man died of exposure Monday evening, according to the Alliance Review.

The Stark County Sheriff's office suspects alcohol was a contributing factor, according to a report from the Stark County Coroner's Office, The Review reported.

The Stark County Sheriff's Office said toxicology reports won't be back for four to six weeks to confirm.
