Tallmadge Good Neighbors gives out items for Thanksgiving

Tallmadge — Tallmadge Good Neighbors has distributed bags of food, pumpkin pies and grocery store gift cards to qualifying local families during its annual Thanksgiving give out Nov. 14.
Chairwoman Candy Lorkowski has said this a record 98 families were expected to participate.
“We don't set a goal, just try to help those in need,” she has said.
Tallmadge Good Neighbors’ Christmas give out, which is usually the largest of the year, is scheduled for Dec. 5 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Community Center, 80 Community Road.
Throughout the year, the nonprofit organization assists families in need by giving out donated food and clothing.
