Former Big Boy property has new owner

by Holly Schoenstein | reporter Published:

Tallmadge -- Restaurateur Tony Jaber is the new owner of the former Big Boy property building at North Avenue on the Circle.

Jaber, who bought the property for $425,000 earlier this month, plans to turn it into a '50s or '60s-style, 24-hour diner that serves breakfast. He expects to open the new restaurant late summer of 2013.

The building has been vacant since Big Boy closed its doors in September of 2007.

For more about Jaber's vision for the property, see the Dec. 23 edition of the Tallmadge Express.
