Dunbar students get ready for Christmas during 'Polar Express Day'

Tallmadge -- Students at Dunbar Primary School are dressed in their pajamas today [Dec. 20] to participate in "Polar Express Day."

Principal Courtney Davis read the classic children's book by Chris Van Allsburg this morning, and Santa stopped by to give each child a silver bell. In the story, Santa gives a silver bell to a boy because only those who "truly believe" will hear the sound of the bell.

The students enjoyed milk and cookies while watching a film based on the book.
