Tallmadge -- More than 700 people attended the Tallmadge Recreation Center's "Family Fun Night" Feb. 15.
As attendees entered the event, they had an opportunity to sign an 8-by-12-foot sign that now hangs in the Rec Center for everyone to see.
Kids participated in crafts, jumped on oversized inflatable toys, petted exotic animals at the live petting zoo, viewed exhibits, wore hats twisted from balloons and had their faces painted.
"Twenty-five Tallmadge High School government students volunteered their time to help out throughout the night. We were very grateful for them. They were a huge help to us," said Renee Kaufman, activity coordinator at the Rec.
