Tallmadge -- A "mill and fill" road construction project on North Avenue wrapped up last week.
The stretch of road that was resurfaced and restriped with paint was from about 600 feet south of Howe Road to Munroe Falls.
One lane of the road was closed to motorists, and workers directed traffic during the construction.
"I know it was an inconvenience [for motorists], but it's done, it looks great. It was a well-needed project," Mayor Dave Kline said.
The total cost of the project was about $400,000, with the Ohio Department of Transportation paying for 80 percent, or $320,000, and the city of Tallmadge is responsible for 20 percent, or about $80,000, according to Bryan Esler, the city's public service director.
