Tallmadge -- Police have arrested a suspect in the double homicide case of Tallmadge residents Wendy Ralston and her son, Peyton.
Tallmadge Police, with the help of the Akron Bureau of Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, arrested Akron resident Daniel T. Tighe, 39, around 1 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release from the police department.
Tighe is charged with aggravated murder in the death of his 5-year-old son, Peyton, and murder in the death of his ex-girlfriend, Wendy, 31, who is Peyton's mother, and felony domestic violence.
Police expect additional charges through the Summit County Grand Jury.
Police arrested Tighe without incident in Akron, where he had been staying in a camper since the remains of Wendy and Peyton were found in a wooded area behind their Stone Creek Drive home on Aug. 10.
After police complete the booking process, Tighe will be incarcerated at the Summit County Jail until his first court appearance via video at the Stow Municipal Court.
