The city of Tallmadge celebrates the beginning of the Christmas season with a service at the Historic Church at the Circle, tree lighting and reception on Sunday.
During the Tallmadge Historical Society's annual "Christmas on the Circle" event, the Tallmadge High School a cappella choir performs holiday music pieces.
Following the service, Mayor Dave Kline ceremoniously turns on the decorative lights at the Circle.
Those attending the event then enjoy refreshments at the Old Town Hall, where they have the opportunity to view holiday decor at the Historical Society's museum on the second floor.
