Mark W. Fairhurst sworn in as new Tallmadge Board of Education member

Tallmadge -- The Tallmadge Board of Education has a new member: Mark W. Fairhurst.

Mayor Dave Kline swore Fairhurst into office during Wednesday's regular Board meeting.

The Board appointed Fairhurst to fill the vacant seat Valorie Prulhiere created when she resigned last month. Although her term expires Dec. 31, 2017, Fairhurst will serve until the first of the year following the next election, which is Jan. 1. 2016.
