146th Tallmadge Memorial Day Parade & Service

The 146th annual Tallmadge Memorial Day Parade and Service took place May 26 beginning on Tallmadge Circle and ending at the Tallmadge Cemetery where attendees had the opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by veterans. Leading off the parade this year was the Tallmadge Police Honor Guard, Northeast Ohio Honor Guard Team, Garfield High School Navy JROTC and the Tallmadge American Legion Post 255 and Auxiliary Unit. The Tallmadge High School Band, Tallmadge fire and police departments, Gold Star Mothers, Mayor David Kline and City Council, Tallmadge Girl Scouts, Brownies, Tallmadge Primetimers, Tallmadge Lions, Tallmadge Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts and military veterans, along with other groups marched in the parade. Larry Moore of the Veterans Service Commission served as featured speaker this year.
