Tallmadge students spend springtime in Paris

Published:

Tallmadge High School students, along with parents and family members, visited Paris during spring break this year with French teachers Julie Basso and Emily Harrington. The group used the educational travel company, WorldStrides and enjoyed four full days of sightseeing in Paris, which included visiting the Catacombes, Les Invalides, Eiffel Tower at day and going to the top at night, Notre Dame Cathedral, L'Arc de Triomphe, Les Galleries LaFayette, Versailles, Sacre Coeur and La Place du Tertre, the Louvre, Le Musée de Rodin and the Opéra Garnier. The group ate at traditional Parisian restaurants for dinner each night and had an art lesson with a local Parisian artist in Montmartre. The World Language Department at Tallmadge High School plans a trip abroad every other year so that all high school students can save and participate in a trip.
