Tallmadge -- The Tallmadge Farmers Market will open for the season June 12 in the parking lot of the Recreation Center, 46 N. Munroe Road.
The market will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursdays through Oct. 16.
Pat Sauner, community development manager for the city, said this year's market will be similar to those in the past seven years.
"We've got people selling vegetables, baked goods, cookies, popcorn, honey, flowers," he said. "It varies throughout the [season]. In the middle of the [season] it's more vegetables, and at the end of the [season] we have people selling pumpkins and gourds."
About 40 vendors in total have registered for booths, but the number on any given day will vary from about 15 to 25, Sauner said. About 20 vendors will be there for opening day.
To register for a booth, contact Regina Conti at the city at 330-633-0856.
