On Sept. 22, the city of Tallmadge joined other Ohio cities that will spend the next six months evaluating whether to prohibit or limit medical marijuana businesses. Before the unanimous City Council vote supporting a six-month moratorium, a public hearing was conducted. In this video, a local father and son support the moratorium, which was recommended by the city's law director, Megan Raber, and its mayor, Dave Kline. The six months will allow city officials time to ensure any changes to the zoning code are appropriate, according to Raber.
