Akron SCORE, the free mentoring program for new and existing businesses, announced today that it will present five free workshops in March 2017 at two Akron locations. The workshops offer practical guidance to help new businesses get started and existing businesses improve their operations and profitability.
All workshops are conducted by professional counselors certified by SCORE, the non-profit Small Business Administration-affiliated organization. The workshops will be conducted at the Taylor Institute for Direct Marketing at The University of Akron and the Hudson Library.
Workshops at the Taylor Institute , all from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., include:
· March 7 – Fundamentals of Writing a Business Plan
· March 14 –Fundamentals of Financial Management
· March 21 – Results Selling
· March 28 – Thinking About Building a Website?
Workshops at the Hudson library are from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. :
· March 29 & 30 – QuickBooks #1 & #2
