Tallmadge -- On Feb. 25, the owner of a Southwest Avenue business told police sometime between 5:30 p.m. Feb. 23 and 8 a.m. Feb. 25, someone removed five catalytic converters and four hubcaps with a total value of $3,200 from company vans parked at the rear of the building. Police are investigating. On Feb. 24, an employee of a West Avenue business told police sometime between 9 p.m. Feb. 20 and 9 a.m. Feb. 24, someone removed a $300 catalytic converter from his work van while it was parked in the rear of the business. Extra patrols were requested. Theft Feb. 26 An employee of a West Avenue business told police sometime between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m., someone removed his $80 bike from outside the business. Criminal damage Feb. 26 An employee of an Eastwood Avenue business told police sometime overnight, the top window glass of a drive-up window at the rear of the building was shattered by an unknown object. Damage was estimated at $100. Feb. 26 An employee of a Southeast Avenue business told police sometime overnight a large window facing Southeast Avenue was shot with a BB or pellet gun.
