MERLE GENE "PETE" LAW
Loved sports, family
Merle Gene "Pete" Law, 69, died April 6, 2008, after suffering a long confinement from a traffic accident in 1998.
Born in Alliance, Mr. Law lived in Tallmadge since 1982. He was employed with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., retiring in 1995 with 36 years of service. He was a member of Wedgewood United Methodist Church. He was a member of Ellet Baseball Association, and played baseball in the Silver League. He loved sports and always followed all the community sports. He was a very kind and generous man and he never knew a stranger. Mr. Law had love for his family, his horse and dogs. He had a great sense of humor.
Mr. Law was preceded in death by his son, David Law. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughters, Kathy, Tricia (Ron) Rozumalski; son, Edward (Alicia) Law; stepchildren, Nicole and Dan Boland; and six grandchildren.
Donovan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
