Safety School offered in June

Safety School will be conducted June 16 through 20, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 3 p.m., at Overdale Primary School, 90 W. Overdale Drive.

Children will receive daily safety lessons, color and listen to speakers from the Tallmadge police and fire departments, as well as other agencies.

Sponsored by the Tallmadge police and fire departments, Safety School is a unit in safety education for all children who will attend a kindergarten class (public, private or home-schooled) in Tallmadge for the first time in August. A morning and afternoon session will be offered. All classes will take place in the Overdale Primary School gym. Registration will be limited to 50 students per session and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Registration forms are available in the lobby of Tallmadge Police Department, 53 Northeast Ave. Completed forms must be returned to the police department by no later than noon June 13.
