Dorothy J. Benjamin, 76, died April 22, 2008.
Born in Cuyahoga Falls, Mrs. Benjamin had lived most of her life in Kent. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Tallmadge and Tallmadge AARP. She enjoyed travel, nature, laughter and time spent with family and friends. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Mrs. Benjamin is survived by her husband, Kenneth; daughter, Sandra (Kurt) Hannemann and granddaughter, Emily of Mequon, Wis.; son, Kenneth W. Benjamin of Streetsboro and granddaughters, Shannon and Kyle; sister, Marjorie Johnson of Tallmadge; and brothers, William (Ruth) Johnson, Robert L. (Eunice) Johnson of Cuyahoga Falls and Donald (Leona) Johnson of Munroe Falls.
Memorial donations may be made to First Congregational Church, 85 Heritage Drive, Tallmadge 44278.
Donovan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
