Walk, Pet Expo benefit Humane Society
The Humane Society of Greater Akron's fourth annual Bark in the Park is May 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Goodyear Metro Park.
Bark in the Park includes a 1-mile Pledge Walk for pets and people at 11 a.m., as well as a Pet Expo featuring agility demonstrations, entertainment, adoption areas, prizes, fun pet contests, food, seminars and more.
Proceeds will be used to aid animals that are victims of cruelty, neglect, illness or injury, and to provide adoption services, education and community outreach programs.
