The former Patsy Meadows and Chuck House were married Aug. 30, 1958 at St. Vincent Catholic Church in Akron.
The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a Mass at St. Vincent Church and a family vacation in Myrtle Beach.
Chuck retired from Community Electric after 42 years as an electrician with Local Union 306. Patsy is a homemaker who volunteered for many years for Catholic Social Services.
The couple have four children -- Debbie and Louie Cabral, Cathy and Joel Yost, Bob and Jeannette House and Terry House, and five grandchildren -- Riley, Jaret, Leah, Heather and Danny.
