Jessica Garzich and Michael Brister were united in marriage July 12, 2008, at the Wedding Chapel, Gastonia, N.C. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Robert Elwood.
The bride is the daughter of John and Vicki Garzich of Tallmadge. The bridegroom is the son of Thomas and Dr. Evelyn Brister of Cuyahoga Falls.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a form-fitting gown with white Victorian lace down the back. The chiffon gown featured a beaded "V" neckline and a beaded back with a ruched train.
Bridesmaids were Carrie Garzich of Rockville, Md., sister of the bride and Anna Bihari of Tallmadge, friend of the bride. Autumn Brister and Rachael Brownlee, nieces of the bride, were flower girls.
Groomsmen were James Brister of Cuyahoga Falls and Stephen Brister of North Canton, brothers of the bridegroom.
The reception took place at Comfort Suites, Gastonia, N.C.
The bride is a graduate of Tallmadge High School and the University of Akron. She is employed at Charlotte Mecklenburg School District, Charlotte, N.C. as an English teacher.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and the University of Akron. He is employed at American Medical Panel, Charlotte, N.C., as an IT manager.
The couple honeymooned at St. Lucia, and now reside in Pineville, N.C.
