David and Kayann (Wheatley) Hawkins recently celebrated their 40th anniversary.
They were married Sept. 1, 1968, in Tallmadge.
The couple has three children: David and Tiffany Hawkins of Cuyahoga Falls, Paul and Sheila Varga of Springdale, Pa. and Tom and Melanie Hawkins of Tallmadge; and seven grandchildren.
The couple celebrated Aug. 30 at their home in Tallmadge with a party hosted by their children and 30 family members in attendance.
