PHYLLIS HOPE HENRY Longtime Tallmadge resident Phyllis Hope Henry, 94, died March 18, 2009. Mrs. Henry was born in Akron, raised in Cuyahoga Falls and lived in Tallmadge for more than 50 years and the past five years in Hudson. She had been an operator for Ohio Bell Telephone and was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and its Altar Guild. Preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Bailey and John W. Henry; daughter, Marilyn Bailey Sharek; parents, Stephen and Faith Taylor and step-mother, Rebecca Taylor, she is survived by her grandchildren, Laura Lopez of Pittsburgh and Frank (Colleen) Coen of California; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Lopez, and nieces and nephews, including Robert and Bernadette Weston of Cuyahoga Falls. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield 44406. Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Comments
