ROBERT J. WICHMAN
Active in Tallmadge Kiwanis, Lions Club, enjoyed golf
Robert J. Wichman, 76, died April 11, 2009. Born in Glassport, Pa., Mr. Wichman had lived in Hartville since 2005 and in Tallmadge prior to that time. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was owner/operator of the Tallmadge Agency, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, past president of the Tallmadge Kiwanis and also a member of the Lions Club. He was an avid golfer.
Mr. Wichman is survived by his wife of 54 years, Geraldine E.; daughter, Karen (Richard) Folk of Hartville; sons, Mark (Linda) Wichman of Alaska and Thomas (Joyce) Wichman of Corbin, Ky.; grandchildren, Andrea, Stacey and Alison; five great-grandchildren; sister, Helen (Ed) Bunda of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2952 Edison St. N.W., Uniontown 44685 or the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield 44406.
Donovan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
